Hi! I'm Brianna. By day, I work at Action Against Hunger, an amazing organization dedicated to ending deadly hunger around the world. In my free time, I make comics. One of which is called The Adventures of P.B. and Jane, about a peanut butter jar, a jelly jar, and the adventures they have with their foodie friends in the kitchen cabinet. If you're thinking that sounds totally silly, well... it is. But hey, even silly comics can tackle serious topics like hunger.
That's why for my campaign, I'm dedicating P.B. and Jane to raising funds for #Team45, Action Against Hunger's social fundraising campaign to save children from hunger. It takes just $45 to save a malnourished child's life using ready-to-use therapeutic food. I want to raise $900 to save 20 malnourished children.
At the start of my campaign, I made a comic that introduced Plumpy'nut, a ready-to-use therapeutic food packet who's on a mission to save 20 children from hunger. For every $100 raised, I'm posting a new comic that gets Plumpy'nut one step closer to his goal.
So, if you want to save children from hunger, or if you just enjoy reading my silly comics every week and want to see Plumpy'nut's story progress, please consider donating. (Everyone who contributes will get a thank-you note from Plumpy'nut, P.B. and Jane themselves!) Also, please share the love on your Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Blogger, etc.
Thanks so much for your support!
